Mullimalai is a beautiful village located in the Western Ghats of the Nilgiris District, Tamil Nadu State, India. The village is a lovely home to around 200 Badaga families who are united by their culture, ethics and moral values. Mullimalai is located over a hill thereby giving a panoramic view of many villages and mountains around the place. The Village is well connected to the nearest towns Ooty and Coonoor. The nearest town is Manjoor which is the taluk headquarters of the village. The People of the village are blessed by “Mahalingaiyaa” who is the starting point of all our lives.
We are a group of 'young minds' hailing from Mullimalai village living around the world (non-residents), with a common goal to be intact, together and work towards developmental plans for our native village “MulliMalai” with the support of our active and resident brothers living in our village. Today we are around 80 members who hail from Mullimalai and living outside the village. The members living world-wide who are connected in an exclusive WhatsApp group “MM Welfare Forum 2019”, signifying the starting year and the goal - “The welfare of Mullimalai”. Our closed group members are segmented into three sub-groups namely The Riders, The Thinkers and The Guiders.

"The Executors" - Applying thought and prioritizing focus - Age group 36-45
“The Mentors” - Set the path with experience - Age group 46 and above
Started in 2019, the objective of the forum is to create a onetime fund with contributions of all Mullimalai natives living around the world and put into the development plans of the village. Constructing of a Kitchen Room for the community hall and one Dhodda Manai for Naduhatty are the initial targets fixed.
