My dear Non Resident Mulli Malai Youngsters,

Mulli Malai village members thrust me the privilege of holding the leadership of the village in February 2012, at a time when there was lack of togetherness, ill will and disbelief among the members and a poor show in our functions. Though I was regularly participating in the village activities and nurturing it by way of contribution ever since I was employed for the role. After my taking over the leadership I was involving myself in all the activities as I would administer a Factory.

I am fully convinced that I have done the best to the Village and I could see now
Togetherness among people,
Very high participation in the Bajanaimanai weekly poojas,
Involvement and Contribution in festivals, and
above all, good show during funerals, which has brought the dignity and the image of our Village among other hatty people to higher level. We are now fully recognised everywhere.

We could bring financial discipline and growth in the fund position substantially by the increased contribution from all of you, having belief in the leadership and frugal spending. I wish to share the status when I took over and now which was presented on the 14th January 2019 in the Village General Body Meeting.

You can see that we have mobilisd an amount of 11.22 lakhs in the last 7 years by meticulously managing the resources apart from spending a few lakh rupees for the extention of the Kandi Temple and the the compound wall.

We could also harness the funds from Government in getting the public utilities of the Village like, Death Shelter in the Hanai ground, a Well in the Keeyalla and a new water storage tank in Hanai, Drainages, paving of the Hanai Ground with Interlock Cement stones. A separate common Waterline from Hanai Water tank to Naduvatty was given to draw house connection at reduced cost from the common line instead of bringing pipe line by individuals themselves from Tank. Thus, now there are 35 house connections . We have been able to maintain a good water supply to the village due to focused attention and maintenance. Efforts are put to keep the village surroundings fairly clean. Much to be achieved.

I have been sending communications to the members of families living outside the village, about the deaths and the festivals of the village since 2015 through Whats App. I was also sending the computerised list of death fund arrears to Outsiders for their information to enable them to pay their dues in time. This has improved the communication and brought better awareness among all. With these, the level of participation and contribution by you all, by way of Kanikkai and Donation increased many fold and the fund increased to this unprecedented level as I have shown above.

Your initiative now to form this group of Mulli Malai Non Resident Bread winners and cumulate funds for the Village Development have become a land mark in the Annals of Mulli Malai village. I, as leader of the village, is proud of all of you. I am now enjoying reading all your scripts in our Whats App Group every day. You have made a great dent in a few days of initiating, going very fast. Long live all of you and bring laurels and prosperity to Mulli Malai.

After the construction of the Doddamanai in Hanai, Mercifully, profoundly and liberally donated by the four sons of late Pocka Bellie Gowder, Shri B.Raman, Peelan, Bolan and Raju, we now in the Village planned for the following activities from the funds available in the village and further donations.

• Add some statues in the front of the of the plain RCC Roof and paint the Temple.
• Make a RCC roof above the Vinayaka Temple with Pillars and paint the Bajanaimanai.
• Make a Dodda Manai in the Naduvatty Village.

Your Collections now apart from construction of your planned Kitchen and Store Room will help keeping the Village funds at comfortable level.
